Cervical assessment: still long and closed (measuring 3.5 cm on ultrasound)
May's estimated weight: 3 lb 11 oz.
Brennan's estimated weight: 4 lb 3 oz.
Brennan is head down and May is breech. We will be doing a high risk delivery consult with our next ultrasound on July 1st to decide if we want to attempt a vaginal delivery. My doctor thinks a breech extraction for twin B is safe, but I want to hear what the high risk doctor says before I make a decision. I would really like to not have a c-section, but if I feel the vaginal delivery is too risky, it might be better to just do a c-section. Plus, there is always the chance that if
Brennan makes it out the good ol' fashioned way, May might still need a c-section...and that would be a worse recovery than just a c-section! We actually got some great pictures of Brennan today!! He is so adorable! Oh, and evidently they
can tell that the babies have hair on the ultrasound...guess I was wrong about having bald babies! It's getting close now and I am so overjoyed!
Oh my goodness he is cute! His daddy had a lot of hair when he was born. Looks like things are going great - they will be here before we know it!
