36 Weeks
Today I am 36 weeks pregnant...I can hardly believe it! The twins will be here in 14 days or less. My skin is stretched to the max and my stretch marks are getting worse by the day I think. Yesterday I actually bent over and barely hit my belly on the corner of a drawer and it left such a bad red mark and burned for a while...it looks like it bled under the skin. The weird thing is that because my belly button area is numb, I didn't even feel hitting it on the drawer until the burning started...I hope it doesn't leave a permanent mark. Today I feel a little off...don't really know what it is, but I'm not really having contractions more than normal. It just feels like some weird pains down low and when the babies move, it feels more sensitive. I also have been feeling a little nauseous today. Nothing I can really put my finger on, but something seems different. My dad predicted that yesterday or today would be the day...I am really doubtful though. I really don't think I'm going to go into labor before my scheduled c-section, but today has me wondering if something is happening. My doctor's appointment is on Thursday this week (and next week too actually...that will be my last one!!) but I don't think my doctor is going to check me. He said he wasn't going to check last time, but then he realized I hadn't had the Group B Strep test yet, so he ended up checking anyway. I guess it doesn't really matter if he checks me...it doesn't really mean a lot. Anyways, that's really all I have to write this week. I'm posting a belly pic for your viewing pleasure...or displeasure lol. As always, I would appreciate prayers as we near the day of delivery. Please pray that May and Brennan would make their journey into this world safely and they would be healthy. And...hopefully that I would have a good recovery regardless of the delivery method. Thanks!!
